MTLS 2015

  • To create an environment which is innovative, interesting, and encourages self-inquiry in the learning of Chinese, we have designed an integrated themed curriculum, based on multiple intelligence, bilingualism and early childhood theories, delivered through a play based approach.

    Themes and topics that are interesting and inspiring to children are selected. Using illustrated story books, children are engaged in learning Mandarin by listening to the stories, telling the stories and participating in role-plays. Children participate in hands-on, multisensory, age-appropriate activities designed and led by the teachers to support different learning needs of our children from 1.5 to 6 years old. The activities promote creative thinking and problem solving.

    Learning journeys are organised to bring to life what was learnt in the classroom. This improves the children’s comprehension and appreciation of the language and provide them with a pleasant learning experience.
